Springs has a great assortment of good dining. Some of my favorites include:
Pizza:
Fargo's Pizza
2910 E. Platte Ave
A neat place decorated in the era of the late 1800's. The girls are dressed up in lacey tops and big billowing skirts. The one man band player piano keeps the mood lively and your toes tapping.
BeauJo's Pizza
http://www.beaujos.com/
BeauJo's is a unique style of pizza. You pay for your pie by the pound and there's always honey on the table to eat your dessert like pizza crust.
Fondue:
Mona Lisa
http://www.monalisafondue.com/
This is a fabulous little restaurant in the heart of downtown Manitou. It's a little on the expensive side, but well worth it. Make sure to make reservations if you go this route.
Steak
Ted's Montana Grill
http://www.tedsmontanagrill.com/
I know it's a 'chain' but, Ted's is one of the best steaks I've ever had. Every steak comes in your choice of either beef or bison. (Get the bison if you can afford it! You won't be sorry!) The homemade pickles are delicious and Kahlua fudge brownies are to die for.
German
Edelweiss
http://restauranteur.com/edelweiss/
If you'd like a tasty lager and perhaps some Wienerschnitzel, Edelweiss is a good choice. The atmosphere is fun and the food is tasty.
Italian:
Giuseppe's Depot Restaurant
10 S. Sierra Madre
This is another fun atmosphere restaurant. The restaurant itself is at the train depot and some dining takes place in old train cars.
Well, there's a little to get you started. If there's anything you crave I haven't mentioned, just email me and I'll point you in the right direction! Good luck and good eats!

Try the Mason Jar, 2925 W. Colorado Avenue. Great home cooking, and they usually serve trout as well. I live in Washington now - send me a chicken fried steak!!! Enjoy :-)

Try the Stagecoach Inn in Manitou Springs for great steaks, prime rib, etc. They have a website.

The Mason Jar is one of my favorites. Try Red, Hot, & Blues on Austin Bluffs and Academy, (I think). They have great BBQ.
