Does it get smaller each time a guy has sex or something? What does it matter? As long as he was careful and took precautions right?

Don't they normally ask AFTER you've had sex? And then if they don't like the number... say it's too high for them.. and they leave you.. then you've got one more to tell the next woman. I think it's an evil conspiracy to get all men to stop having so much sex. or something.. but it sounds like a conspiracy.

One way you can actually look at this is that every time a person has sex, he/she is having sex with every previous partner. So I guess women are just trying to be careful. Promiscuity breeds disease.

One of the main reasons we ask is because we want to know (or are curious to know) how experienced you are. A guy who's been with 10 women as opposed to 2, must know more and be more familiar with a woman's body and therefore, must know exactly how to please a woman. The more the women, the better he is in bed. Of course, there's nothing wrong with a guy who's been with just 1 woman or is even a virgin. The advantage is that it is less probable that he may have a veneral disease or something and the best part is that we women get to teach them our way and to make our fantasies come true.
I, personally, would be hesitant to want to have sex with a guy who tells me he's been with 10 or more because I want to eliminate the probability that he may have gotten infected because even if he took precautions, there's always that small percent of possibility and I do not want to take that chance and I feel that I should have the right or the option to decide whether I want to risk it with him or not.

I personally want to know so that I can get an idea if I'm dealing with a player or not. Kinda looking after myself seeing as no one else will do it for me and plus most people manipulate you, in this case most guys (not all), to score.
Consider this, how come a guy can sleep around as much as he wants to and when a woman does it she's still a slut in 2006, and u wanna whine and complain about conspiracy?

not necessarily, I think that women see how unique or important she might be in your life. They somehow connect past relations with the current one. Plus, they want to be aware of things. If a problem were to arise that you might not have been aware of, it gives her a chance to say "I knew it". haha No, they just want to know. Tell them and if they don't like the answer then more on to the other. Most likely the answer that she will not like will be a high number of sexual partners and that means that you will have no problem finding someone else. Be honest. No point in lying to her. Then when she finds out the truth she will just be pissed and you guys will fight and may not be together anyway, so just tell the truth and see what happens.

Most of the time it's other way around, but if you are sincere and this has actually happened to you; then you are one of the rare people that has experienced this. Most women are more than willing to express their feelings and have meaningful conversations. Most women want meaningful relationship and not a one night stand. Your set of circumstances is quite unusual.

Women are smart these days, I'm 43 and been with about 50-60 different women in my life time. and now I have no interest in just one women, I have to be with at least 4 or 5 to get me off. So I think that they would like to know if their being played.

I think it is silly of a woman not to ask those important questions BEFORE YOU GIVE YOUR TREASURE TO A GUY WHO THINKS LIKE YOU. And you wonder why the aids rate is so high. It's because of meat heads like you that think it's okay to hop from bed to bed. Women need to be smart, or just otherwise keep your goodies wrapped tight, and save them for a person who doesn't view something as important as sex as something casual.

I disagree with this statement.
Chinese women certanly don't ask this question, discretion is the key.
Certain types of women who are perhaps soft hearted -
would.
Married women ask after years of marriage in order to consolidate their
marriage and position.
Thus by finding out everything about their husband they may have a better grip on him in the future.
In conclusion I think it largely depends on the person and character of the women.

actually i found that my size increased with oral pleasures over the course of a year,,not much but 4 inches is alot overall, i am told it is not possible but a tape measure dont lie.....and women get mad only if the number is the same or close to what the themsleves have had...
