I agree, it's a bad argument. There is no logic behind it. But be careful, Christians are not the only ones who make this statement. I will say this for the adoption by a same sex couple argument. A child growing up in a same sex household (or any non-traditional home) has one big obstacle to overcome. I'm not saying these homes are bad, by any means. Some of them are healthier than many heterosexual households. A child growing up in a same-sex parent household does not know how to deal with the sex that is not the parents. A child raised by two moms doesn't know what to expect from men, or how to be a man. It's the same for a child with two fathers. Single parent households. Children need to know how to deal with people. If you take half of the population out of the equation, it will hinder social growth. No, I am not denying that they can't "outsource" (it's not the perfect analogy, but I think it works) a role model, but it isn't constant, and that's what children need to build up a framework. The gay parent equals gay child, yeah, that's a bad argument. I just wanted to give you another perspective.

I think that it is quite sad to show your thongs off as a fashion statement, what exactly are they stating that they wear pants - well most people do.

Some people get swept away with what's supposed to be fashion and end up straying into a fashion disaster zone. Each to their own though, that's what I say.

Why would it be madness?

It's accidental, as someone said before.

A thong has to be high up on the hips to stop it falling down, and with today's fashion of low cut waistlines, they often peek over the top.

Personally, I find it really hot when you get a wee glimpse of thong.

Its the same logic behind why men walk around showing their boxers off. Don't you think it's a bit of a double standard how it look trashy for women to show their underwear but it's cool for men to.

It's all down to the fashion designers. They refuse to make trousers, especially jeans that come right up to your waist, but they forgot to make the thongs shorter!!!

The fact it is likely the thong is not sitting properly. They have probeley wedged the thong and are used to that wedgie feeling to show it half way up their backsides.

THE TRUTH.

Personally I find it tacky and can sometimes look very vulgar, do these ladies not know they can buy low rise thongs to wear with those hipster jeans etc?
