Do you believe in true love? Does it really exist? Or am I just the biggest fool walking this earth. I found love once & it was so invigorating, so fulfilling, so surreal. But then my heart was bruised and left to bleed. Can true love occur again with someone else? I feel so devastated. I guess I'm just an idiot.

You found "euphoria," not necessarily true love. True love is developed over time and through shared experience. The potential for true and lasting love is usually what couples get engaged and married over. The "true" part is what develops through perseverance, trauma, fun, compromise, earned trust, etc. Love is a choice: That part I know to be true.

True love exists if you believe it does. When humans are in love, they automatically become the biggest fools on the face of the planet. True love can indeed occur with someone else, if you allow them to be who they are and not hold the sins of the past over their heads like the Sword of Damacles.
Go through the grieving process, and you will begin to feel better.

Yes, you can fall in love for the second time. I was married for 12 years when i got a divorce I thought my life was over or at least I would never feel that feeling of being loved again. But 3 years passed and I met a wonderful man that loves me and I love him more than the first. So, yes it can happen just be a little alert and patient and your heart will tell the rest.

yes I do believe in true love, it does exist, but I have to tell you something, I once was in love with the best man in the world and then 2 weeks before our wedding he died, and it took me a long time to get back into the dating mode, but I have to tell you, I will never love that way again, its like I have a huge shield around my heart and I won't let anyone close to it. But I do love the man I am with now, just not the way I loved before. Good luck and don't give up on love, its a great feeling!

Naw baby. Love is real. But Love is crazy. Itll make u think different, eat different, sleep different, act different, and feel well good, bad, scared, undecided all at the same time. Ive only been in love once myself, but each time you love and lose.. you really win.. because you learn, you take each expierence to the heart and you will find love again. Just stay open minded.. and always remember that its only real if its real to both parties... peace... and love.

Yes, I do believe in true love... it really does exist.
If it was true love on your ex-mate's part, you wouldn't have been left to bleed.
It doesn't make you a fool... you just didn't realize you were trusting an untrustworthy person.
Just take it as one of life's lessons about love/trust.
There's someone out there for you, who can & will truly, honestly love you... it can happen to you.

I met my boyfriend 9 years ago.. I couldnt' stand the sight of him..he was soooo annoying to me,, he was datein one of my friends sister and everytime I was at there house he would always chase me around tryin to give me a hug.. I just could not stand him.. well when I was 22 years old Him and I started chattin at a club we both go to and then a couple months later started dating.. we have been together for 2 years and he means the world to me.. So I belive in true love.. it's out there somewhere.. there's someone there for you.. you just gotta wait untill she comes around and when she does you'll know it.

Yes, it does exist and yes you can find true happiness again. Don't let this hurt you feel now discourage you from opening your heart again. Take your time to heal and before you know it your heart will be ready to open and love again.

Some research has suggested that we only TRULY fall in love once. BUT you can feel deep attachment to others. And yes I believe in true love...I finally found it! Good luck.
