why are the bins in the bootle area of liverpool coloured purple?

It's in honor of Barney the Dinosaur. He's taking over the roll of Godzilla only he'll be toppling Big Ben in his next movie. LOL

Maybe they's got really nasty "rubbish" in them...

We call them plain ol' "garbage cans/dumpsters" here in these United States!

Y'all Brits probably'd think a "Dumpster" was some obscure place in the G.B.! LOL : p
