It could be heredity or hormones.

It is probably genetic. Although....have you just had surgery or a baby? Often after a baby you lose hair, and often after surgery because of what they give you to put you under, will cause hair loss. Your body is traumatized and for some reason, we see that reaction through the hair. So--it could really be stress, genetics, or hormones. There are alot of beautiful hair pieces or wigs out there today that don't look like it. Times have changed! Get happy, and look into what it will take to become happier.

If premature graying or baldness runs in your family, it could be hereditary. There are also medical conditions that cause the hair to fall out (like cancer treatments). Talk to your doctor.
Try changing your shampoo to one that's very easy on your hair, and avoid perms and/or colouring.
