There are two doors behind one door is certian death, behind the other infinite welth and prosperity, two guards stand in front of the doors 9both know which door is which) one guard always tells the truth the other always lies, you do not know which is the tuth teller and which is the liar, You can ask one guard one question, what question would you ask to guarentee you would go through the correct door

The answer is to ask one of the guards "what would the other guard say if I asked him if your door was the correct one?" You see, if the guard you ask is honest, he would say that the other guard would claim the door led to death, because that would be a lie. If the guard you ask was the liar, he would lie and say the other guard would claim the door led to life. In either case, you can safely assume the opposite is true, and that tells you, logically, which door is the correct one.

well if one guard always tells lies i would ask a simple question that i personally know like 2 x 2 and if he lies all the time he would say 8 or some wrong answer.

I´d ask..."Hey, do you guys wanna go with me through Door No.1?" lol...ok i have no idea if that would work, but the way i see it, regardless of the level of their honesty im sure neither of them wanna die....so they´d both have to either say "Yeah, sure" or "No way".... right? lol.
