I know that menstruation is a result of the blood lining in the uterus sloughing off. If i have a very light menstrual discharge, sometimes lasting only up to 2 days. Does this mean that my lining is not thick, and does this have any significance with regard to my fertility or ability to bear a child?

no, you have nothing to worry about.
The duration of menstruation varies from person to person.

No, it is an indication of your hormone levels. You are not pregnant, so therefore your body is not producing the hormones that make your uterine lining thicken. so its all good. your body will know what to do when the time comes!

not at all. mine are extremely light all the time, and I have gotten pregnant twice (once through a condom and birth control....go figure) If you are really concerned though, ust ask your GYN. they should have the best answer for you.
