I agree that the body shop should be responsible for its mess. That is the first thing to do.

If you do not get satisfaction there, then try Simple Green. It is a very good grease cutter. Another thing to try is brake cleaning fluid, which is available at any autoparts store or the car section in Wal-Mart. I prefer the stuff in the red-and-black cans, as it is the same thing as drycleaning fluid. It dissolves grease and oil in a jiffy and usually does not harm fabric or finishes.

But take the car back to the body shop first. Good luck!

Probably not. Don't you dare touch it yourself!!! This is HORRIBLE customer service. Drive it right back to the body shop and tell them you will not accept the car until they clean the grease off it. I can't believe you would even attempt to clean it yourself.

I'd go back and have cleaned, they have good chemicals but if not possible then use an all purpose degreaser like 409, or stuff called Mean green degreaser

there are many ways to get this to come clean but you dont have to do it. the shop is not aware of your problem. just give them a call and set up a appointment to get this resolved. they will clean it like new
