I don't understand how so many can have a child with this guy and that and think nothing of ever being married or even knowing WHO THE FATHER IS! How can you have 4 children all with different Fathers? Do you have no self respect and what about your children isn't is disrespectful to them also?

The problem is that sex is now just a commodity to be brought and sold (not just by "prostitutes" - look at the amount of actors and actresses prostituting themselves these days); and when it isn't a commodity it is simply something to pass the time.
The idea that sex is something special to be enjoyed between life-long partners is something that the media are not prepared to promote. Therefore lots of youngsters are growing up with this idea as anathema.
The person who says: "its not your life get over it" misses the point - family breakdown affects everybody.

Perhaps these are girls and women who believe that either:
- abortion is immoral, or
- contraceptives are immoral, or
- having children will better their life, either by improving their self-esteem, or having the government give them enough money that they don't have to have a job.
I believe such girls and women are noted for their total lack of consideration for other people's feelings and welfare, even their childrens'. Sad if true.
*note* I certainly don't believe that being a single mother is necessarily immoral. The key word here is "casually;" I do believe that having children "casually" is immoral, whether you're the male or female parent, and whether you're single or non-single.

I think girls are extremely influenced by soap operas and celebrities too. Everytime a baby comes along on a soap opra, it's a big drama and intrigue and the mother-to-be character becomes the center of all that and the star of the show. Then there are all these celebrities who have children with several partners and they always get their photo on the cover of People when they are pregnant.

I dont understand why men casually get women or girls pregnant without any respest or concern! Both parties to be blame - sorry! It takes two to tango besides society has now normalized the single parent thing anyway.

YEs...i dont understand either... some girls wishes their guy to come back to them because they have kids together..but most of the time..the guys are imature.and don't own up to it. some girls have children cuz..they are very irresponsible...they don't use birthcontrol or any method to protect themself... some girls who don't have father figure in their life tends to be a single mother...
Its always their children that will suffer later in life...

I agree a lot with you. I think it is just a general decline in the morales of society. Pretty much stupid people breeding, and having more stupid people... Just my opinion

Aids and std's should also be a concern with unprotected sex with a stranger as well...
