No - he is wrong.

Menstrual blood loss can cause women to become anaemic.

Anaemia can place extra demands on the heart

The extra demands can cause chest pains.

However, in a fit and healthy young woman, this is very uncommon. I would return to your doctor and discuss this with him/her or perhaps see another doctor if you wish.

Your doctor is probably referring to the fact that women during their reproductive years are relatively protected from heart disease compared to men of the same age.

However, they are more at risk of anaemia!

If you are looking particularly pale, then I would consider having a blood test to check Haemoglobin level.

If you are not looking particularly pale then perhaps a blood test might not be needed.

I had your concern and went on delivery administration. It no longer purely made my era significantly lighter, it additionally took away very lots of my abdomen cramps. Plus, I constantly knew to the day whilst my era became into going to start. There are risks with delivery administration, as there are with any drug. yet till you're a heavy smoker (in case you're clever adequate to be attentive to that at 15 you're actually not waiting for intercourse i be attentive to you're clever adequate to stay removed from drugs, alcohol, and cigs!) the hazards are not that great. Smoking makes you greater probably to get blood clots and will develop your danger of alternative part outcomes besides. many human beings take delivery administration who're no longer sexually lively. i think of you could talk it including your mom/aunt/depended on female kinfolk member and provide it a shot. this is properly worth it to no longer ought to hold your breath every time you get up because of the fact which you're afraid you will gush by your tampon AND pad!

He's the reason they have second opinions! What a dumb@$$! You could very well have something wrong with your heart or it could be stress related like hypertension or something. Don't let him get you down. Go see a different doctor.

Get a better doctor, that one is a nut case.
I had bad chest pain when I still had that curse and it was a bad case of gas but spent a night in intensive care because of it. Very costly gas.
