My Mom and Dad are always making me go to church and giving me "encouraging" stuff, but it's like I don't feel him. And sometimes I don't want to. It's like if he cares why not show it a lil, eh? It's like show me your there God,and I might like you. But it's like, "WHERE ARE YOU?!?!"

I can say I was a thug, a player, a person who gave a damn about nothing, then I thought I lost everything, it made me turn to someone I had never turned to, Jesus Christ, amazingly everything got better, My fiance with child left me 4 months ago citing she didn't love me as the reason. I have prayed and prayed but nothing, then suddenly when I feel all is lost we start hanging out and I hope this is the crack in the door God is giving me, but believe me he is there like footprints says, you'll only see one set of footprints at your lowest times because he will carry you.

Well, in that case, you have no choice but to believe in him since your(maybe christened already,) parents , that god has made his decision to choose you. It doesn't mean when you don't feel him you are a non-believer. It means the time has yet to come. When you pray to him, you don't feel it coming true at once. There are thing in life where you have to keep trying and never to give up . What ever you do, it won't change the future, and all decided on fate. Just be true to yourself and all will come naturally.

I am going thru this with my son right now. I believe God is the hope we have, the reasoning behind our thinking, (our little Jiminy Crickett)
Even though it may seem God is not there for you, know that he is. All the things that happen to us God lets happen. Whether it's for our good, or someone else's. I think with out God, my life would be a total mess. He protects us daily whether we know it's him or not.

God is a higher power that a person believes controls their past, present, and future. It will always come from faith and what you believe in. Look in to yourself and see what you believe and what you want out of life. Also God is in many different forms for many people, you have to find the one you want to worship

Welcome to the club. For me, it comes down to this: am I going to put my faith in confusing and twisted book which happens to be popular with my parents or am I going to put my faith in myself and my own powers of observation? I've also noticed that the people who find God are often the ones who really need to find God. They have had some traumatic experiences and getting saved is the answer for them. If you don't have that kind of life, it's much harder to really give in and make being saved a life changing event. Well, unless your parents are excellent brain washers.

believe me he is real my mom is currently in intensive care unit on a respirator believe me he works wonders and he put you in this life and he will take you out when time is right
