He was real, he seemed like a very honorable man and could have been anyone's friend. I loved the shows he did with his wife and his kids- his family was very important to him and that came through in his work. As much work as he did for conservation and to protect wildlife- he did not seem fanatical to the point of valuing animals over people.
He did not change with the media or popular tide- he remained true to himself and his calling, did what he loved and brought us all along for the ride.
God bless his family and give them peace and confort in this time of loss and trial.

i liked how he went out n did things that other people were afraid of i like his entusiasium n his likes in animals and how he made it fun to watch. His accent i liked to.

He seemed normal to me. He looked normal, acted normal (most of the time, lol), and seemed like a genuinely nice guy.
