Personally I miss not having at least one. And no more of these "prequel" series. I'm talking about exploring strange new worlds and seeking out new life and new civilizations.

As long as that idiot Rick Berman does not have anything to do with it. As soon as Gene died, he tried to put his own personal stamp on the franchise instead of listening to people. He killed the movies with crap. He killed Deep Space Nine by trying to over do it, then under do it. It got better at the end only because he ignored it. Enterprise was almost good, and I really liked where it was going, but Paramount has even bigger idiots working for them. You think that they of all people would have learned the first time.

At least Sci-Fi has picked it up. Maybe they can buy the rights from Paramount, fire Berman, and then come up with something really fantastic.

Absolutely! A new series beyond TNG and DS 9 would be the next logical step. New adventures, New crew, etc.

Not really. I am pretty much done with Trek. There are some pretty good sci fi shows out now. We just need more of them and less reality shows.

I loved Star Trek as a kid, and enjoyed Next Generation and DS-9, but I think they have done it to death.
