If humanity is meant to be smart then surely we can come up with a better solution rather than fighting.

The answer to this question is most likely, and surprisingly, a resounding yes. However, as someone has already pointed out this does not necessarily imply that the end to all war means peace. If we consider mankind and the story of Earth to be just that, a story, then we have to consider how stories progress. Typically, stories progress as crude arc’s where initially tensions arise (introduction) and then various conflicts (for example a war) drive the development of both the story and the characters. Inevitably conflict leads to change (in fact without some form of conflict there can be no change) and this can be seen in our own history as very slowly over time we have changed. We still make war with ourselves certainly but most of the world these days is educated enough to know that war has serious consequences for all involved.

Through forums such as the United Nations we have attempted to keep a check on war and ensure that we are not ignorant of the cost. However, this kind of moral growth obviously has a very long way to go before the political and economic consequences of war out weigh its benefits. Secondly, there is the issue of sovereignty and power, currently an institution such as the United Nations is weak because it has no supreme means to enforce policy. If nations gave up some of their sovereign rights and the UN Peacekeeping force was greatest military force in the world then things might be different (though this is disputed see articles about Federal World Government).

Eventually conflict leads to resolution and so some day many years from now your question will be answered. However, the jury is most definitely still out on what form this "end to all wars" will take.

PS: Religion is poison!

Never,Unfortunately cause the human being is know as a greedy person,so if he occupies a country he will dream to have the other and that's what is going on.
Also the Jewish people will never stop their war against the Arabs first of all they thinks that the middle east is their own land(the promised land).second they do really like killing,If you don't believe me,just take a look at the history

There was a wonderful line in the old (original) Star Trek series. Some conflab of diplomats was going on onboard the Enterprise when a murder took place. The Vulcan (Spok or his dad who was also onboard) was saying how some parts of the investigation were "not logical." Some sybaritic-type in blue gave his sophisticated look and said that more crimes were committed by passion than logic. I suspect they had something there. It isn't just when we get our brains in gear that will give us peace, but we also have to hold our emotions in proper check as well. That is a good deal harder to do.

War will only end if there is one race and one religion....whatever it may be....all wars are over money and religion Greed and belief's.... and as some religions are expanding and as the world is getting richer and can afford more and more deadly weapons
I very much doubt there will be an end to War

The only way there will ever be an end to all wars is when God comes down and stops all this nonsense.

no, wars are the only thing that makes humanity progress. sounds bad but its true. radar, nuclear power, jet engines, even getting to the moon (if it wasn,t a fake) were all by products of war. people will always disagree & communication needs to be the key

Yes of course there will be and end to wars. At least wars on earth when we all blow each other to hell. No one left to make war, simple. Of course there will always be Star Wars.

As long as there are two or more humans left alive, wars will be imminent. It's just the human way!
