Try keeping your skin clean, free from oils. I'm assuming you mean pimples. I know you dont want to hear products, but one thing that is found in most astringents is rubbing alcohol. I would not recommend using alcohol alone on your skin every day, but when washing with a simple soap will not work, maybe try just alcohol a couple times a week. Of course discontinue use if it's painful or causes an irritation. I dont have really oily skin and I do not have to do much to keep my skin clear but occasionaly my skin gets a little oily and I end up with pimples below my bottom lip or on my nose. This helps to keep those areas free from oil, because the other parts of my face are usually dry. The smell goes away in seconds unlike most astringents which are perfumed and caused my sensitive skin irritation.

As trite as it may sound, cleansing goes a long way. Blemishes and pimples can be kept at bay with washing your face with a mild facewash 2 to 3 times a day, but not anymore than that 'cos over-cleansing could induce your skin to produce more oil to the surface. Yet, you HAVE to moisturise your face every night with a water-based lotion (creams are way too dense) to prevent from losing the suppleness of young skin. Avoid any makeup other than eye makeup and lipstick. Glosses and lip stains can make you look more greasy.

As you said, you're going through puberty, and everybody goes though this "spotty" phase at some time during their adoloscence. So cheer up!

Eat healthy, don't eat chocolate, or anything greasy. Stay away from caffeine and drink tons of water. Eat some Green beans and wheat germ, they help clear up your skin and also eat foods with vitamin A or take a multivitamin. Try to wash your face in the morning and before going to bed. Apple cider vinegar is a natural food and it also clears the skin, take a shot a day and swipe some on a cotton ball and apply to your face before going to bed. always use a non acnegenic/ Non-Comedogenic moisturizer.

Wash your hands and face daily. Do not touch your face any more than you have to. Check to see if your hair care products are causing breakouts. Drink lots of water. If you use makeup, make sure it is water based. You might try using witch hazel as a toner as well. Keep your face adequately moisturized-you can break out if your skin is too dry as well.

Laying in the tanning bed helps keep my skin clear, but you may not be one who does that. Birth control pills help many women with their skin as well. Baking soda and toothpaste applied to problem spots my clear up acne.

depends on ur skin type. some ppl don't need to wash their faces at all or use products. go to a dermatologist if u have a serious problem. if its just one or two. then just either watch ur diet and avoid oily foods and wash your face more often

I had pretty bad skin until I went vegan (no animal-derived foods.) Try one week of a diet w/o meat, milk, cheese etc. If it comes from an animal don´t eat it. This might really help your skin like it did for me. Be careful of oils, use only olive oil.
