My therapist says this is a sign that a person is losing, or has lost touch with themselves and their reality, often due to but not limited to longstanding depression or unhappiness. It can even be a sign of early schizophrenia.

Mine is the name of my Lizard. LOL. At first, I thought you were referring to the people who use famous people like Mr. T, Michael Jackson, George W. Bush, John Kerry, etc. Heck, even Jesus Christ is in on the Yahoo fun these days.
