Duct tape does not work properly. If you move your jaw around you can easily get it off. Rolled up sock is uncomfortable. So...neither.
I'm sorry to tell you this but gagging is about the least practical bondage activity. Just use duct tape and pretend it works!

Go with the duct tape. The sock will absorb their saliva and cause other problems you may not want. On the other hand, if you're going to shoot them anyway, what the hell.

Id say duck tape is a safer option than sock in mouth
