Porsche. I have always loved the way they look.

I am on my third ferrari and I can honestly say I have had about 1 million problems with them. My current ferrari is a 430 and in three months it has been to the dealer 6 times.

I also have a Porsche Cayenne which I use more as an everyday car. It is the Turbo S and it has a very hard life! In two years it has gone wrong ZERO times.

I would never buy a 911 even though the current car is supposed to be quite good, I certainly wouldn't buy it over a Ferrari as they are two different car entirely. The Porsche is lifeless, no passion just boring and reliable which is great if thats what your into.

Try comparing Porsche to Top end Mercs and Audis, not Bmw they are the worst cars in the world (new ones, old ones are ok)

Ferrari everytime

To me this is a silly question.

The Porsche has less maintenance problems than a Ferrari. The cost of repairs are far less aggrevating on the wallet.

The Porsche Club of America has a lot of fun. Also, you learn to drive your car with proper instruction on the track - so when you take your Porsche out on the roads - you really know how to drive...

The Ferrari Club of America has many good car shows -- like Cavallino in Florida... The few Ferrari DEs I know of - have the attitude you bought the car - then you know how to drive it... no instructions... And look what happened at San Diego last year at the Ferrari DE -- a Porsche GT was on the track - and a Ferrari decided to pop out and kill two people. It was horrible.

Ferraris are great cars - do not get me wrong. But you have to see if you can afford it - and if you do get one - come to a PCA DE and learn how to drive it so you don't get into trouble on the road... All egos aside guys.

Mark U... (Him above me)
...Ssshh be quiet - You get a choice Porsche or Ferrari, and if you can afford either then I think you'd be pretty "financially secure" already so cost wouldn't be a problem.
Any sane person would have a ferrari, you can always sell it later and afford to buy a porsche - or at least most models of porsche and still have £££ left over if you really are a tight git :)

Personally I think Ferraris & Porsches are very expensive and I just had a look at the gorgeous Saturn Sky and I love it and it only costs $30,000 maximum. What a motor! If they bring out the Sky with a W12 engine & 6 speed gearbox and 2 seats in the back for my kids thats even better!

Ferrari

Comparing Porsche to Ferarri, Ferrari is designed to bring the elegance of the F1 experience onto their cars.

Porsche doesn't quite bring that elegance. Better yet, I prefer the Lamborghini

Ferrari, not as common as a porsche.

Porsche because its easier to maintain when the bulk of your miles are street miles. Ferraris are geared ti go fast all the time. Regular street speeds foul the motor.
