No I believe in myself. If something goes right in my life I don't consider it a 'miracle from God', if anything goes wrong, I don;t believe it was 'God testing my strength', people have always needed someone of something to be responsible for their lives, "God made me do it", "I can do anything I want and my sins shall be forgiven" - I think the whole 'God' idea goes back to when we were cavemen and women - when we were all just a bit to thick to work out what thunder and lightning was.....some idiot came up with the idea that the Gods must be angry!! And it spiralled out of control from there. Religion is the cause of a lot of wars, bizarre rituals and wrong doing. And if there was no such concept of Heaven or Hell, there would be a lot less believers and hypocrites in the world. I am a good person, I do not hurt others, I offer support when needed, and I basically try to do the right thing by others. I don't need a God in my life to help me stay in line. I find there are so many believers that a so angry and protective of their faith, they miss the whole point to living.
