I think they realized that people are getting tired of seeing him in movies. Production companies are always looking to make a buck, so new faces and ideas work better that dealing with the same old stuff.

NO IT IS NOT CRAZY!!! Tom Cruise is only as good as the screen writers, the script writers, and the production company that makes movies! Tom Cruise is a completely self serving, self promoting, overhyped, undertalented douchebagg extaordinairre!!! Like a typical hollywood jerkwad he has also given his child a name (Suri) that will forever state "My parents are complete douchebaggs that had to give me what they thought was a cool and original name".

Well, if I were Paramount and Tom started acting like a crazy fool jump'n around putting his made up religious beliefs on people. I'd kick'm to the curb also! He's lost his mind people!!!

No it isn't.Paramount said that after paying Tom a whopping fee and 20% royalties,they barley made a profit.Tom also had diva like behaviour and was difficult to get along with.
