It's not an easy poem, it's not a simple poem. What does it make you feel?

But as a jumping off point, how lonely do you think J. Alfred Prufrock is? What images does Eliot use to emphasize that loneliness, what phrases? Is Prufrock an outsider in the world he wants to inhabit?

(And doing your own lit homework will help - honestly. You'll become better at reading lit, what it is your teacher/professor wants from assignments, and develop some highly useful skills - like critical thinking.)
