Well I've done both and the marrying after 30 has worked out much better. I think it is all up to the individual and what they want out of their life. After 30 has the advantage in that you've given yourself time to experience life and figure out a lot of things. Early has the advantage that in some ways dealing with kids is easier when your younger.

I was 30 when I got married....other than being an old man chasing babies, when you don't have the energy like you had when you was 20. The marriage is usually more stable and lasts longer however. I'm 41 and still married to the same lady.

I sincerely believe its all based on how mature the people involved are.

I was married once at the age of 23 (my spouse was 21). He was stupid and immature, and after 5 years of his cheating abusive crap I left and got a divorce.
I remarried at the age of 35 and have a very good marriage now with a very emotionally mature man who's caring, considerate and thoughtful.
Then I know a couple who've been married since they were both 19, and they are dedicated and smart and loving toward one another and VERY mature in the ways that count when it comes to a relationship.

One good thing about being married before is all that energy many 20-somethings use to stay at clubs all night (like I did) can be used to stay awake with the baby(ies). When you get older it's not as easy.
