Used to be a Funeral Director so I know it's The Lord is my Shepherd. Don't know what I want played at mine, but my Mum wants us all to sing Ding Dong the Witch is Dead.

I guess some kind of hymns are played at funerals. My brother had Knocking on Heaven Door played at his, he attended a funeral a couple of months before he was killed, on the way home that song came on and he said I want that song played at my funeral. I think I might want a song played by Elton John.

Like others I think Amazing Grace is quite popular as is You'll Never Walk Alone. Other songs I've heard which have brought a lump to the throat have been Somewhere Over The Rainbow, sung by Eva cassidy and When Autumn Leaves Start To Fall, also sung by Eva. I'm going to be cremated, as they bring my coffin in I want Who Wants To Live Forever and when the curtains are closed around me I want The Show Must go On, both obviously by Queen. Hopefully, I will be singing along accompanied by the one and only Freddy.

The most played song is probably Celine Dion's "My heart will go on" (I'm not sure if that is the exact title but you should know the song).
The one I want played at my funeral is the Godfather theme song, I seriously doubt there is any cooler way to go into the ground than looking like a gangsta like Marlon Brando (which incidentally I've been told I look like a young and Mexican Marlon Brando; put on my nice suit and I look just like a mobster).

Amazing Grace is probably the most played. I would like Another One Bites the Dust at my funeral.

I really want "Radar Love" by Golden Earring, and "Paradise By the Dashboard Light" by Meatloaf played at my funeral, and I want everyone to go out for a big seafood dinner.

I think that Amazing Grace is probably the most popular and I would not mind having that one at my funeral. I would also like "God Be With You Til We Meet Again" (http://www.lds.org/churchmusic/detailmusicPlayer/index.html?searchlanguage=1&search)

You'll Never Walk Alone is popular (should be You'll Never Walk AGAIN, really)
For my funeral I want Wild Horses by the Rolling Stones:-
Childhood living is easy to do
The things you wanted I bought them for you
Graceless lady you know who I am
You know I can't let you slide through my hands
Wild horses couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses, couldn't drag me away
I watched you suffer a dull aching pain
Now you decided to show me the same
No sweeping exits or offstage lines
Could make me feel bitter or treat you unkind
Wild horses couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses, couldn't drag me away
I know I dreamed you a sin and a lie
I have my freedom but I don't have much time
Faith has been broken, tears must be cried
Let's do some living after we die
Wild horses couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses, we'll ride them some day
Wild horses couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses, we'll ride them some day
