get the phone number for your states attorney general ... you CAN report them if you have legitamate reason and not just because you arent friends. IE legitimate reason being they are not holding up to landlord duties such as repairs and complaints.

It depends on where you live and what the problem is. You could file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but they will not intervene on your behalf, they will only report that a complaint has been filed. You could try the attorney general in your state. Depending on the complaint, they may or may not take action, or they may refer you to a different agency. You could try HUD, http://www.hud.gov/ they will investigate certain types of complaints and they will involved the US Dept of Justice if necessary. If you have a dispute over money paid, a lawyer may be your best bet.

Good luck!

If the building is not up to code, call a county building inspector. If you have a personal problem with the landlord, call an attorney.

Housing authority or HUD I think. Might even try your local code enforcement depending on the type of complaint.

You can file a complaint with HUD. That is about it. He is not accountable to anyone unless he is doing something criminal.

Does he do Section 8 housing? If so then you can report him.
