COME ON GOVERNMENT Is taxes really that important how selfish can it get that someone can't give me a hundred dollars to lift my shirt because they can't tax my body......RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!

You are not really that simple minded to think that would make a difference. Paid sex is legal in Las Vegas, some European countries, and other places I'm sure. It doesn't need to be anymore than that. Paid sex would not reduce the amount of sex offenders. If anything, it would help increase those numbers. With sex offenders, it's a matter of power and control, not the actual sex.

Prostitution is legal in germany, this allows the authoruties to keep a tighter control on it, stopping the exploitation of women, and reducing the spread of STDs. I vote yes, it should be legal, it's something that doesnt harm anyone else and it would be impossible to stop it.

Archaic reasoning, that some outlet has to be provided for the baser instincts, that someone has to do "that sort of thing". There will not be fewer sex offenders. Sex offenders beat, rob and murder prostitutes, they don't pay them and then thank them for keeping them from doing something bad.

It will do nothing for sex offenders. That is a crime of power. But if the Health Dept. was involved their would be less disease pass around. And hopefully less young children involved in it. It would have to be regulated by the Law.

i do agree that paid sex should be legal. Because it is going to happen either way, there is no way to stop it. This way there would by health check and suck so it would also be a hole lot safer. They would also be off the streets, and bordello house's, so the people that didn't want to see it wouldn't have too.

Sex crimes is not about sex, its about control and humiliation. Legalizing prostitution will not lead to a lessening of sex crimes, as the urge to humiliate and dominate wont be met by a consenting partner... paid or otherwise.

I don't entirely agree with your reasoning, but I do think paid sex should be legal. Why is it illegal? I could never do it personally, but our bodies are our bodies. Why should the government get to decide for us? Right or wrong. Moral or immoral. Our bodies belong to no one but us. We should have the ultimate decision.

isn't it already legal?? it's called taking bi/T/ches out to dinner....

I say Yes. Then the prostitutes can go get daily check ups justlike pornstars and you have to get in line to pick up a hooker and by that time there will be so many hookers that it will take but a minute to get yourself one. Kinda like buying a car. and renting a motel. I think it would be big bucks, and lower std rates.
