You heard wrong - if you USE the cellphone too much you get brain cancer, if you wear it near your crown jewels too much you go sterile.

There is in fact not enough evidence to tell at this time.

They MIGHT be right!

What has been prooven over the years is that there is no regulated amount of radio-micro-waves in effect, so our modern society does not put a limit on the amount of "waves" sent out in the environment.

Basically 15 years ago a study was done by (ex-USSR) Russian and American scientists to measure the amount of "microwaves" (also includes the cell phone "waves" and wireless devices "waves") per cubic meter in various parts of ex-USSR versus part in the USA. THe amount in USA territories was 1000 times more concentrated than in ex-USSR, which prompted scientists to offer a warning, quickly dismissed by the surgeon general and other "corrupt" health officials who regarded the findings as "inconclusive".

To make this long story shorter, yes it is true; these "radiowaves" in concentrated amount can not only render people sterile, but can also increase chances of cancer, amongst other things. However, the tests done over the last 25 years weren't conclusive enough for most, so any findings were quickly dismissed.

But these days it is impossible to not be exposed to such "radiowaves". There are so many wireless devices, and everyone (& their dog) has a cell phone, so basically even if you do not own a cell phone, you are "absorbing" radiowaves nonetheless due to the incredible amount already in the atmosphere. The only way to reduce this is to isolate yourself in unpopulated areas, but even there, cell phone companies are building antennae sites to boost their reception.

The only way to counteract this would be for a limit to be imposed on the usage of such devices (cell phones, wireless doohickies, and microwave ovens) but in today's world that would mean chaos since we humans have become so dependant on our wireless phones and internet and music mp3 players. Forcing the human population to limit their usage on such devices would cause panic and chaos within our so-called organised society. Plus they are making so much money with all this technology, limiting usage would reflect on their sales and also affect the economy.

But until research is properly funded and recognised, nothing can be adequatly proven.

I'm not sure. But I have also heard that the cell phone radiation has an effect on women as well. If this effect in women is reproductive, I do not know. A friend of mine wears this thing around her waste, kind of like a belt, which supposedly deflects the radiation. She feels much better when she wears it.

We can only hope.
Seriously though, the ears take a beating from too much use of cells but the medical reports are just not complete enough.
As for Ipods - false
Microwaves- Not unless you stuff their butt in one or get to close to a satillite dish that sends as well as recieves.

No - just old wives' tales. There is no scientific evidence of damage caused by these devices when used properly. Of course, if you stick your testicles IN the microwave and turn it on, that's a whole different story...

I don't think so....take it easy, at one point and time they say that everything is "unhealthy" and causes cancer and deceases and what not. You can either spend your life and worry about that or you just do what you are doing already: balanced healthy diet, moderate exercise and happy thoughts - and you will live to tell your grandchildren about the good life you had!!!
