I've seen some people referring to people who "support the gay lifestyle" here.

Who the **** are you to "support" or "oppose" someone else's life as if it was a political issue?

go support your own lifestyle and get over it

by the way, a republican democracy is designed to protect the rights of the minority over the whims of the majority... so don't tell me you are the majority and should be able to evict or whatever it is you want to do to all the gay people

refute.

Whoo hoo, someone put a burr under your saddle didn't they? You don't sound too gay (as in happy, one of the other definitions) about it either, do you mr. scrooge.

Hint, you just opposed someone else's point of view genius, so settle your hackles and move on.

A republican democracy is NOT "designed" to protect the rights of the minority. A CONSTITUTIONAL republican democracy is designed to do so, as is a Parliamentary system of democracy. As the American States have adopted a system of Constitutional Republics and LATER adopted a Constitutional federal system, it behooves us to be specific about how Rights are first protected on the State or Commonwealth level firstly and secondly on the federal level.
Secondly, acknowledging the Rights of Individuals, firstly acknowledges the Rights to own and control your own property, unlike in a Marxist / regulated system. In this system, the "landlord" and "tenant" are bound by the laws of Contracts and the principles of fairness and resonability in contracts come into play. The obligations of the respective parties devolve to those parties in asserting, exercising and enforcing their rights under the rental or lease "agreements" (read the word "Contract" here).
If the contract is a true meeting of the minds of the parties, then the conscionable terms thereof can be applied so long as they are not in and of themselves illegal.
This means that when "lifestyle" issues are not written into a contract, the subsequent actions to falsely "enforce" provisions that are not explicit and clear within such contracts would appear to be in contavention of the terms thereof. In other words, you can't enforce vague, "implied" or unwritten actions under the guise of legitimacy when they have not been agreed to by both parties.
This is neither meant as support of conservatives who seek to evict gay people, nor as support of the GBLTT community, each of whom have vested ownership in mateial properties that are called "RIGHTS"; rights to own and control property, rights to free association, rights to free speech, rights to contract freely, rights to engage in enterprise, rights to family, rights to pursue happiness and more.

I won't refute, because I'm gay, and wholeheartedly live the gay lifestyle. However, I am not bothered by what other people think of that, whether they support it or oppose it. I have more important things on my mind - like having a life.

No. The only lifestyle I support is my own. I don't put my nose into others' business.

If a man looks into another mans butthole and sees love, that is their problem.Gays shouldn't be given special rights though. They should have the same rights as everyone else,to marry someone from the opposite sex.

I don't think gays expect anyone to "support" their lifestyle, since they are adult taxpaying citizens they just ask for the same rights as any other American citizen.

promiscuous sodomy is an element
of the gay life which poses grave danger
to the health and well being of society.

that qualifies it to be a political issue.
