I love to lay in bed at night and feel my growing stomach, but even the slightest pressure( anything more than laying my hand on it) hurts. It feels kinda like a combonation of gas and bladder pressure. VERY very sensitive. I'm worried and don't see the doctor for another week and a half. Is this normal?

In my third pregnancy i found my stomach very senistive to touch when i asked the doctor she told me i had a lot more fluid than normal (nothing to worry about) and that was the reason. If you are very concerned call her office and ask to speak to someone.

Good Luck

the pressure your feeling is the baby laying on your bladder. it gives you a sudden urge to pee doesn't it? i have that happen all the time. and the gas is probably normal too. it could be because of the baby moving.just relax and talk to your doctor the next time you go. everything will be OK

If you feel worried and that's not good for the baby you should call the doctor and tell the nurse/receptionist if you can move your appointment ahead. I think that would the best, instead of worrying yourself sick over it. And if everything is normal thats great, but at least you know.

I'm 6 almost 7 months and my uterus does get like that sometimes, but not all the time. If it's like that all the time and it bothers you call your Dr.s office and tell them what you feel. If they think it may be a problem they'll set you up an earlier appointment. I'm sure it's nothing serious. Good Luck.

Do you feel pain or pressure? Slight pain is normal due to uterus muscle stretching, pressure is normal as well, but it is not normal to experience a great pain by the slightest pressure.

I'd go to a drop in clinic and get it checked out. Discomfort is common, but at 5 months it shouldn't be that bad.
Get an ultrasound, maybe the baby has shifted to somewhere it shouldn't be.

No, but it is probably nothing to worry about either. The baby could be putting pressure due to it's position. However, I would suggest you call your doc and ask to see him now. Better safe then sorry.

You could be gassy as that will cause your stomach to hurt and be sensitive to the touch. You should go see the doctor just to make sure their isn't something more serious.
