Depending on the color of the carpet, peroxide is the cheapest fastest way to get rid of the stain. Simple test a small area first to make sure it won't bleach your carpet and if it doesn't apply to a clean cloth and dab onto the stain. If that doesn't work you can add a little baking soda to the peroxide and use a tooth brush to work it in and then dry with another clean cloth. Hope that helps!

Wine is actually good for carpets.

But to remove say for a white carpet, right away when it's still wet you need to get a big towel and jump around on it and soak up as much as you can. If it's already dry.. use dishsoap and keep soaking it with water, and again soak it up with a towel and rub hard to dry it.

particular. Amazingly, the terrific thank you to eliminate purple wine stains from fabric inclusive of carpets etc is to word white wine to the stained section. The purple stain will disappear after utilising the plonk, then you definitely rub the affected section with a damp cloth and detergent.

Get some of that Vanish stuff it's great, don't waste a perfectly good white wine on it. Drink it after you've cleaned up!

If it's wet, pour a load of salt on it to suck it up. If dry, use a solvent carpet stain remover like 1001.

I was told that if you pour WHITE wine on top and let it soak a little then sponge it out, that works, otherwise if you live in ENGLAND, have you tried VANISH that seems to get anything out of everything! Good stuff!

"Bounty" paper when wet. If dry try rewetting with cold water as first resort then methylated spirit as second and use Bounty. No other brand available where I live has same structure and performance; cheap paper towels won't do.
