I remember getting S&H Green Stamps and Plaid Stamps and helping my mother stick them into those paper stamp books, and after collecting enough to get something, going with her to the redemption center / store to cash them in. What other kinds of stamps were there? I'm sure I've forgot some. The stamps received at the checkout were based on your total money purchase. What were some of the cool things you got with the stamps?

Man, my mom would save books and books of those things, S&H Green Stamps. They had a redemption store close by and we'd go there and shop with the stamps! Mostly she got kitchen appliances (small ones), but it was really cool to save them. Thanks for the memories! Godloveya!

I remember the green stamps and I was so little that I thought they meant we were poor and on food stamps. Don't know what we got for them though.

Blue Chip stamps in Ca.in the 60's. You could get small appliances and other stuff for the kitchen. Also Jewel Tea and Watkins had similar promotions.

Yeah, I remember those green stamps.....Mom saved hers and used them to get gifts for christmas and birthdays.....Those were the days!
