Ladies, What can we do to get our men to put the seat down on the toilet when they're finished?. There is nothing worse than getting up in the middle of the night and fall in it. Am I right?

It is a drag to fall in the toilet in the middle of the night, but I look at it this way, there are 2 males and 2 females at our house and it's just as easy to put it down as it is to flip it up, so I don't really mind. However if the girls outnumber the guys at your house you have a valid complaint. Sorry, there's no cure all for it.

I'm a man and I remember to put the seat down most of the time, but i have some advice for you. Men never get their butts wet in that way. You want to know why? It's because we "look" before we sit down.

HAHAHA! I solved that problem in my house! I am pregnent, so I get up to pee every 3 hours. And everytime time the toliet seat is up when I go to tinkle, I wake his butt up and tell him I fell in. He started putting it down after I was waking him up 4x a night.

You want to know how I broke my hubby of that habit? I bought one of those thingy's that you put over the tank, you know, the type that ALWAYS makes the lid fall down? He had a close call one time too often, and decided it was better to remember to put the seat down than to watch out for closing lids!!

All I can say is be like us we have a boys/men bathroom and a lady room so we don't have that problem

this is a totally lost cause....
my man says he'll put it down when he's done if i'll put it up when i'm done...this didn't make ne sense to me...so i deal with the fact that it's always up.

I have the same problem. I really do not know what to do about it. I try to tell him over and over again, but he just doesn't listen.
