To answer some folks...I KNOW what the expressions means...I am asking YOU to tell me how it applies to YOUR life.

That's one of those expressions that's just not used much any more. You brought that up in a previous question.
"Up my alley" is a loaded thing!! LOL I'm involved in so many things and I truly enjoy it. You know how much I love my daughter and how much time I spend with her. So, anything involving her is "up my alley". Last night, it was volunteering in her Art Club. I also support my hubby so very much and I'm always proud of him. So, anything military is "up my alley" as well. I love attending military functions. On my own, my alley leans toward reading, doing various things on my pc, spoiling the dogs, my plants and many crafting projects. I think my alley is too big sometimes. It gets awfully crowded and I have to clean it out. Tonight, my alley will include my first night of teaching Religious Education to Kindergartners.

It means, that you are experienced at something, or you know a lot about it. Say that you are a computer tech. and you are speaking with friends, and one of your friends say, "my computer is not working right", and another friend might say, well, that's right up your alley, meaning, that you might be able to fix the computer. It is referring to something that you are good at.."right up your alley"
