FROM A WOMAN'S POINT OF VIEW ITS PURELY EMOTIONAL, GENERALLY THEY ARE NOT GETTING THE SUPPORT FROM THEIR PARTNER, ALL THOUGH THIS IS NO EXCUSE TO LOOK ELSE WHERE. I THINK FROM THE MANS VIEW ITS PURELY SEX AND THE CHALLENGE

Whatever gave you that idea? The actual number of men or women who are actively seeking an affair at any one time must be far smaller than those who are at home with their partners ... I know I would love to leave my wife at home and have sex with another woman but the chance of it happening is pretty remote!

I assume you're thinking of swingers' clubs maybe?

Excitement. It is the thrill of being wanted and needed out of the normal situation. Sometimes someone needs to be aknowledged as a person and not just someones wife or mother. Not an excuse or really a good reason. Just something I happen to know a little about.

They are looking to find that spark that seems to leave a relationship when you are married, settled down, possibly children around. It is hard to keep the passion going and you no longer feel that flutter of excitement you felt at the beginning. You need to do things to bring that excitement back, make love in the car, on a beach, do things that keep the passion alive.!!!!

I think its the whole Grass is always greener on the other side. You think you have what you want, but then you see what you can't have which is exciting. People attach a stigma to marriage and relationships that they become boring etc, but its down to the individual. Also nobodys perfect so you can't get everything you want from one person.

i think the institution of marriage, is itself turning out to be a failure, except for producing, rearing lawfully branded children. but who has the courage to discard it ? and why married couples ? boy friends, girl friends are cheating each other, live-in relationships also same thing ! is this so-called damn human society turning primitive ? should we start living like a hippie community, where there is no control over who sleeps with whom ? the flower children ?
dont' you think if we ought to cling to the marriage, we should neglect these flings ? i think, it's a psychological affair, to want diversity in sex, and lose the charm in one partner, over a no. of years ?

I am sure it is not "most" women! I am a woman and I am happy with my husband. If someone cheats on the other then there is surely something wrong with that relationship to begin with or it would not happen.

It because they are missing something at home. It's less trouble to find it elsewhere than to sit and argue about it I guess. I was cheated on years ago and in counseling I learned that my husband thought I was unapproachable and close minded so he didn't even bother. Little did he know, the good little Catholic girls are usually the naughtiest! But it took him cheating to find that out!

The real meaning of marriage has been twisted and perverted to suit man's desire to meet his carnal needs.

To some marriage is only a piece of paper or a measure to control or even just to legalise sexual behavior.

Marriage is not about Self it is about being SELFLESS.

Huh.....My wife and I don't like going anywhere without the other.
We are best friends and enjoy each others company. So you must be asking couples who don't actually love each other.
