A few things: (1) understand that no one is right if everyone is wrong...and (2) that people all desire the same things - a better life for their families and their children.
If we all come to those realizations, I truly believe that people will have a lot more respect for "the other side" - and thus be less prone to giving their governments blank checks to wage war on other peoples.

Everybody contributes to world peace thus it should start within ourselves.
As an individual, live in the present, for it is the only moment everybody have. Why waste every living moment destroying other lives when you have your own to live for. We should all keep your attention on what is here and now; look for the fullness in every moment. Accept what comes to us totally and completely so that you can appreciate it, learn from it, and then let it go.
If those pro for war would just realize within themselves this, I believe (and I still do) we will be able to achieve world peace eventually.

You know there is very little that any ONE person can do.. It has to be a consolidated effort by all and it will never happen. Here in the U.S., the dollar grabbing is of utmost importance and peole do not have time to stop and look at what they can do to attain world peace. The people in the other parts of the world are the same..World peace can NEVER be attained as long as GREED exists

Quantum physics seems to prove that the power of thought to effect change in a life, change in the environment is beyond measure. While it is true that you are one in how many living on the planet, and your thoughts may not be parallel to many others, your thoughts still contain power to effect the world. You know, pebble in the pond effect? The ripples still make it to the other side of the pond, even if the pebble dropped in was very small.
So, 1) Envision world peace as a reality that exists NOW. See it with you mind and heart - what does it look like? what does it sound like? what does it feel like? Make it as real as you can in your mind and heart.
2) Send Lots of Love to the world, our Earth mother who nurtures us, our relatives . . . and especially those some would define as enemies - they need it, too.
3) Finally, LIVE PEACE, and trust me, this is the hardest one! It's not always easy to Live Peace when someone cuts you off on the freeway or spouts violent or racial ideology, or even just gets on your nerves that day! :)
And remember, more and more people are joining you in this search to increase World Peace!
And people of like intent increase the energy to effect an outcome exponetially! :)

You can not change the whole world, but you can start by yourself and people around you. And when you get to know people who wish to act positive towards peace your energies combine together and your impact becomes more clear. So start by deciding to do something or raise the awareness of people towards something. it needn't be big but try to make it sustainable.
I really want to do something on the international peace day but still don't have a clue...
