My best friends mom had been feeling really sick. All of a sudden her stomach bloated out and it looks like shes 7 months pregnant. She has been having diarreah about 18 times a day...this is not an exageration...its been going on for about 2 months and every week its getting a little bit worse. Just last week though blood has been coming out of the anus. What do you think this is. Could it be ovarian cancer or a tumor or an ulcer? She went to the doctor but they dont know what it is so they are running tests, i was just wondering if anyone has or had cancer or anything else i named who knows what i'm talking about.

Shes one of those people who are so affraid to find out something they are scared of they rather not find out at all, until someone forces them. In this case her children forced her to go.

i don't think it's a tumor or anything like that. I think it's polyps. polyps build in clusters and can be a nuscence. they back up your digestive track, causing bloating and diarrhea is the only thing that can pass by the little buggers, and when one or 2 are compressed they can get irritated and bleed, also causing someone to feel ill. if she hasn't already, she needs a colonoscopy, where they put a camera up her bum to see if there is an obstruction, which it sounds like there is. hope this helps. email me anytime :0)

I'm sorry to hear the lady's ill.My mom had a lot of those symtoms.She went into hospital for a week,had a load of tests and was discharged after being told it was just a stomach bug.One week later,re-admitted,more tests.This time stomach cancer was diagnosed.Her health and age made it impossible for an op'.She lasted for a year,but I'm not saying this is what your friend's mom definitely has,and if it is ,there's the chance of an op' and other things they can do now. Im sorry I have no idea but Im glad she has finally seen a Dr I just wonder why she left it so long? I hope she is ok soon!
