In spider-man Peter Parker and his family are clearly WASPs, and they live in queens. Isn't this a bit unrelalistic considering that Queens has a large ethnic population?

Peter Parker also shoots spider-web ropes from his wrists. This is not a story that's heavy on verisimilitude.

But remember, Spider-Man was created over forty years ago. Might the demographics have once been more WASP-friendly?
