I'm asking this and I'll ask a few more similar questions later to try to get an idea of which political opinions are commonly linked and if anyone separates them...

People who are against Clinton, especially those who often refer to him as a traitor, etc., do you believe that global warming exists?

And vice versa, anyone believe global warming doesn't exist but likes or is not against Clinton?

Also, about global warming, take into account that the White House has reluctantly recognized the fact that human activity can affect the climate.

And those who don't believe in global warming, do you believe in pollution's being a public health problem?

Thanks

I think a lot of fundamentalists don't believe in global warming because they are anti-science generally.

Fascinating question. When I took environmental science in high school, the teacher said the Quabbin Reservoir would be empty by about now. It's still full. He also sai the ice caps would melt by 2040. Fundamentalists, like George W. Bush, believe God's promise to Noah that the world will never be flooded again and that Jesus will return soon (hopefully early in the next Democratic administration) so global warming is a good thing that guarantees Jesus' soon return.

I think global warming is real, but I do not know if there is a clear link with human activity. Throughout History the global climate has fluctuated and this was no caused by human industry. Locally there have been changes linked to human practices but those were local episodes. The human factor seems to have scientific consensus now, however.

On Clinton I'd say, his would be considered a good Presidency if he hadn't been such a moron in his personal affairs.

Good question. Can we separate the political rhetoric and one's political loyalty from the issues? For a few, probably not, but for most I believe the intertwining of politics and issues makes it difficult, but not impossible to separate the two. Bush supporters broke with him over port security and the supreme court nominee, but tend to support his policies much longer than those already in disagreement with Bush (e.g., Iraq policy).
Regarding your question--I supported Clinton, except for his affair, and I do believe that the evidence supports the existence of global warming. Further, although the evidence is less clear, it appears that global warming at the very least is made worse by human activity. I accept the overwhelming views of scientists, many of whom are Republicans as well as Democrats, that global warming is real.
I would happily change my view of global warming if evidence, especially as interpreted by respected scientists, demonstrated the contrary. After all, if global warming is real it is likely to lead to dramatic political and economic changes, and ultimately can destroy humankind.

You can't deny that the average temp in the world has gone up. But the earth is an organism, just like u. If u cut yourself, you scab up and heal. The earth is tryin to heal itself now through global warming and a change in polarization. But, if you keep cutting yourself and infection creeps in, you may have to loose an entir arm or leg. Who says that the world will get better? Science will show that we have 30 to 100 years to get this right, or our species will die off. Good times...

Clinton is good. Bush is bad.Global warming may or may not exist, I haven't made up my mind on that yet. At least I am not under water yet. And of course pollution can cause health problems.

Is it even possible that mega-tons of flouro-carbons, methane, and carbon dioxide emissions pumped into the atmoshphere every minute could possibly affect our atmosphere and oceans?

Hating Clinton nullifies the bad effects of pollution!!!!

Having a Republican in office magically nullifies the effects of pollution! (Bush possess a mysterious magic wand!!!!!)

INCREASED bottom-line profits for the BILLIONAIRE major stock holders of mega-corporations are MUCH more important than the health of our planet, and it's people!!! Well, isn't it?!?!?

Yeah...we should hate Clinton; when he cheated on his wife, he cheated on us all!

We should all FULLY support Bush for breaking 26 laws to spy on us, for scrambling SO honorably to ever so quickly come up with those 3 different excuses for our war in Iraq (and the deaths of almost 3,000 of our soldiers who died for those excuses). It's UNPATRIOTIC not to send them off to die for some reason or another. We should build MONUMENTS to praise him for RAPING our meaningless Constitution by greatly diminishing our civil rights and liberties (as well as our protections against our own government should it turn evil) with that GLORIOUS Patriot Act. We should APPLAUD him for accusing those who protest the changing of the meaningless "piece of paper" (Bush's words), the Constitution, and for the unnecessary deaths of our soldiers, of being Nazi's and traitors. To HECK with our forefathers and America's HISTORICAL values....we have BUSH VALUES!!!!!!!!! (bigotry, discrimination, subjective morality, elitism, control , self-importance, imperialism, LIES)

Our forefathers were traitorious liars!

Bush is GOD!

...and so it was that people came to worship EVIL...and EVIL ruled the world. AMEN.
