to get dressed up to go to the grocery store? Me, I just throw on a t shirt and jeans, hair in ponytail, and go. My sister on the other hand has to take a shower, find the perfect outfit, spend 45 minutes on her hair and have her makeup detailed perfectly to pick up a gallon of milk. What is up with that, is this normal? I mean she's married and the grocery store isn't a fashion show!!!!!
Anybody else get all fixed up to go there too? Or am I the odd ball?

I'm like you...whatever i'm wearing while I'm laying around is good enough to go to the store in. maybe your sister doesn't go out often and when she goes to the store she's afraid that she might run into someone she hasn't seen in a while and wants to look her best? if she does go out other than the grocery store, i would say she's the odd ball, not you!!

you're not an odd ball. Its the grocery store for goodness sake. Your sister is one of those people who spends more time in the bathroom getting ready than she does in the store. She cares what other people think of her and that's kinda sad.

I dont get fixed up to go to the grocery store but if I'm going out i do..Sometimes im dressed up from going out that day and may drop by the store to pick up something but that's the only time im dressed up for the store so its not just you!!!:)

I am pretty much wash n go when i want to be. I usually just put moisturizer on in the morning unless I have to work. Then if I have to go to the store I throw a clip in my hair and i am out of there!

I wear sweats, sneakers, hair pulled back. I'm not there to pick up a guy. Some women are not confident enough to go out in house clothes with no makeup.

I don't do anything special when I go to the store, if it is late at night, I might go in my pajama pants and tank top....but lip gloss is a must, no matter what I have on

No you are not odd ball. in this world we have different types of person. some are more very conscious about how do they will look, others are not. its all depends on individual. for normal works look your comfort not looks.
