Would we have as many people think the US is evil?- no, we have multiplied that amount several times over. Who cares "what the world thinks"?
- Do you really wish for more and more people to think badly of the U.S.? Why wouldn't businesses wish to have trade and commerce with the U.S.?
They (the rest of the world) certainly are not very motivated now. The policies of the US have caused our international relations to sink to the worst lows in history, like "W"'s approval rating.

U.S. HEADING DOWN THE WRONG PATH

TIME FOR CHANGE

now lets see what intelligent responses show up here-
Have a fine day =)

We don't care what the world thinks because we're living in our own little fantasy world! Everything is about us in this leadership, don't you know that?I know we "all" can't think like this, can we! ? Lies, arrogance, greed, where are the voices of the American people? We're not all "killers"! There are those of us that realize that it's a big world out there and we can't solely exist on own own. It's sad because we're making so many "enemies" and isolating ourselfs from the rest of the world! With the examle that we are setting right now , is it any wonder that we are losing "respect " and friendship from the rest of the world? Is this fighting terrorizm when we become the "terrorists"? What's happening in Iraq isn't "terrorizm", it's a Civil War between two religious groups. While we are fighting and occupying a country where we don't belong, the real terroists are allowed to go "free" " and some day we will wake up and see who the real "terrorists are! In the meantime this is what we have happening and it's not going to change for the better, why can't we just admit that things have changed since this all began and "stop" this? Can we afford to go through this another 2 yrs? Question, Do you think the people of Iraq are any better off today, then when this whole thing started? Where's the "truth"? When we find "truth" we'll find change! Until then we can argue this forever, and no one wins!!!!

The reason why the world hates us is because we're basically screwing the whole world little by little. We steal from the poor and pretend to be content in front of the richer to then try and steal from them too. We constantly try to take poor land, or a poor country's best income, and then we put maybe a tiny percentage of what we've taken from them (such as with the tsunami) to make it look as if we are the absolute best and loving country in the world. Actually, though, the whole world can see right through our fakeness. I mean it is made so obvious though, help people, then kill thousands of more. Don't get me wrong, I love living here, but I hate the politicians. Still, the entire world sees all of our materialistic values and all of our stealing and killing, and then you think... can you blame them??? We take civilian and native born blood and it is weighed as less important then oil and money. Are people really worth dying for our greed??? That is why just about the whole world has turned their backs against us, and will continue to if we keep up this need to want to control the world.

Its government B.S.; the Zionists are using the helper strategy to rationalize how the U.S. and all other Zionist governments are ran. The doctor is to help people, the psychologist is here to help people but the real people know that all these facade tactics are just a way for the rich to stay rich they have the upper hand in getting these jobs through their previous wealth and maintaining their wealth though white collar jobs. This way they can save their homosexual lifestyle though crime, religion and law. What Amerika is spreading is wealth and power for the elite classes of the world. This is also how Amerika was founded; founded on the 10% rich controlling the masses of humanity through any means necessary.

Richrad, your 'survival' is not in question, moron

You cannot somehow live 'outside' the world and not give a damn what it thinks, however much you want to bury your head in the sand. I thought you guys left the isolationism behind you, but i guess not.

Jesus, its almost funny y'know..you cant go doing what you thinks right and just stamp on other nations because its for your 'national security'

So tell me, how on earth is some craved Islamist with a bomb a threat to the United States? Who is a threat to you guys?

NO-ONE

NB
Roadhazzards, i assume by the fact you said the EU is a 'follower' that you dont really know what it does. How about reconstructing Lebannon, workign with the middle east to stop terrorism and wars, working together to lead the world in ground-breaking research, leading our lives without puppying up to you Americans...some follower, hey?

Its not all bad. There have been some successes. One of the reasons for the lack of electricity is that the demand exceeds pre-war usage - it is skyrocketing. They have a "free press", sattelite TV receivers (forbidden by Saddam), and in some areas things are actually improving. Ironically, in order for the US to prove what it said, it has to leave! They should, but in about 18 months after Iraqi security forces are really prepared to take complete control. Change is good, and inevitable. I don't like "W" either but we ARE involved in this mess, and we started it so we need to do everything possible to fix it... if its possible!

And just what path would you have choosen ? Let me guess, you'd try to understand why the Muslims hate us right ? I won't defend Bush's decision to go to war but I am sick and tired of the clueless who think they can do a better job while sitting here on Yahoo etc....
In the real world you are either a leader or a follower, and it's always easier to be a follower like the UN, EU etc.....
