Andy Roddick

I don't feel like you can compare them that way.

Roddick has the serves; he's developing a much better serve-and-volley game; and is much better at putting away shots. Roddick has much better form too.

Nadal has an easily attacked second-serve; lots of lefty spin; and great running. Sure he has a lot more evident muscles too but he can't serve as well as Roddick.

If you mean physically, then Nadal probably is stronger. Still Nadal has a lot more things to work on (seen by his loss to Youzhny)

Nadal is a better all around athlete, and has a wider range of shots. Roddick, of course, has the advantage when it comes to serving.

Nadal is also a lot less cocky and arrogant than Andy Roddick.

Rafael Nadal

I'm sorry, but I do not agree with these answers. Nadal is a FABULOUS player. I KNOW. But I have to side with Andy Roddick. Not just because he is good looking. I don't give a **** about them muscles. His shots and his ACES! Wow. His game has gotten even better now that Connors is his coach and I am so happy for him. He is going strong, and I hope it stays that way.

Nadal

Nadal has stronger focus and stronger will. Andy Roddick has a stronger serve, but without it, he is nothing.

Like comparing apples and oranges.
Nadal is already much better than Roddick will ever be. I dont see much improvement for Roddick, he will probably just fade away after a couple of years.
Nadal can pretty much be as good as he wants to be. He will take over Federer very soon.
