My grans in hospital so went to visit but she was asleep a bit later her dinner turned up so not wanting to waste food and being hungry had a great munch up on the food. why did the nurses look at me funny?

The nurse probably wasn't used to seeing someone not sick eating the hospital food.
I have no problem with you getting your munch on. The only thing, I know your grans was asleep but you should've asked grans if she was hungry. If she said no, well, munch on.

If she hadn't already ate that was mean of you. The nurse thought you were nuts and needed to be admitted into the hospital for mental help. That was the look she was giving you..lol

cause that was your grandmother's food but i understand. cause i have been that hungry before but never hungry enough for hospital food. and i'm sure your grandmother wasn't too mad cause depending on how long she's been in there she's probably tired of hospital food anyway. you most likely did her a favor

That's not your food.....The nurse is only looking out for the patient....It's only normal for her to glare or maybe even say something mean to you....You should have waited until your grand woke up before you started on her dinner....
