(May be in the wrong category)-----------------------------------------Since I have big nuckles and skinny fingers, the jeweler instead of sizing it, put a spring on the inside of the ring, and it expands to go over my nuckle, and then stays snug on the smallest part of my finger (my ring is heavy, so before it kept swinging backwards) Has anyone else done this? I feel like im not wearing "my" ring... cause the spring touches my finger, it pinches sometimes too. Did you like it if you did that?

well, knuckles a 6.5-7 and finger is 5.5... my mom has the same problem, and her ring is always backwards, so I guess this spring thing is better than that.

I've never heard of that before! Very unusual. What size is your finger?? Mine is a 7 tight.

My engagement ring has a spring on it, it got on my nerves at first, but after a few days I got used to it. After while you won't even notice it. Just remember that without it you would loose it! I chose not to have my ring sized because I still want to wear it after I have children, and women's fingers never return to the original size. But I do like the spring, it keeps my ring in place instead of having it swing around all the time!
