I have recently started dating a new girlfriend. We have been dating for about a month. We are both 20 years old. Last weekend I tried to put the moves on her and she resisted my advances and stated that she is a traditional girl and committed to waiting till marriage. Funny thing is she is exactly the kind of woman I want to marry one day, but not the kind of girl I want to date right now. We are only young once, right ? I understand that she is sincere about her values, but I am falling hard for her, and don't know if I could hold out for YEARS. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Give it another month or two....see what happens for now just go with the flow...if nothing progresses then you will have to leave her because you dont share the same interests and eventually it will clash...but before anything let her know how you feel maybe you can work something out

Anytime you use the phrase "we are only young once" says you really don't love her at all. Or the phrase she is exactly the kind of woman I want to marry one day but not right now. Basically you want to screw and since you can't wait she is not the one right now for you. You said you are falling head over hills for her then why won't you respect her decision. You need to just come right out and tell her you want sex and without it you basically need another girlfriend until you are ready to get married then you want to marry her.......point blank. Sex doesn't make a relationship. That's why when the sex is gone or diminishing we jump ship because we see nothing else in our mate but sex. She has great values and I applaud her.

So why can't you wait too? You said that you love that girl and you want to marry her someday. There are many ways you can do other than that. Like doing the things that both of you would agree (sports or anything). If you would try to find another girl just because she won’t do it, then that would be a waste of time. And maybe, you can't return to her again because she too has found someone else. And besides, it’s all worth waiting for – after marriage.

Poor baby.....do you want some cheese with that whine??? Look, she told you what she wants; which isn't what you want. You want p*ussy and she's not willing to give it up. So do the girl a favor and find a slu*tty girl who will put out for anybody. This girl wants a decent guy and she wants a permanent relationship. You want to have fun. So, go have it! Just tell her you're not right for her at the moment. Then later on when you're nursing you STD, you can look back on the one virgin that "got away"....man, you are really a piece of work!

you need to sort out what's more important to you. you say she's the type of girl you want to marry and your falling hard for her, then why not wait. I'm sure you can find ways around having fun and not having full on sex. if all you want is sex then you're going loose out on a chance of being with a great girl. good luck!
