It seems that I never sleep well in the last 2 years. So most of the time I just strugle to go to office and work. When I get home, there are always so much things to do. I know I must stop and have a good rest, but I just cann't stop. So the problem of headache is more and more serious, and I have nightmare when sleeping.
My body is worser and worser, I want to do some yoga, I think that helps, but that also seems hard to start.

I never sleep well, and never have enough sleep.

Do you have the same problem?

First, you need a good physical to make sure there is NO medical reason for the sleep issues.

In the meantime, you need to get on a sleep schedule. You go to bed at the same time every day/night and get up the same time, regardless of work or weekend. Then at least one hour before you go to bed you stop everything but a relaxing activity, e.g., listening to calming music, reading, watching a TV show that requires no thought, etc. But there are NOT done in the bedroom.

There should be no TV in the bedroom, too.

Yoga is great or relaxation training. Also do not exercise within two hours of bedtime.

How do I know? Been there!

i still do not sleep well but i am better, you are going through a rut doing the same thing every day the more u do the more needs done and the is not enoughtime in the day to get it all in. i was like that i cut back on a lot of lesser what needs down and focused on a hobbie or something i like that made me happy and forget about everyday problems, i started m-biking i do up to 45 miles a week , and my life is better , not cured but better. give it a try jump out of the circle find yourself again

i suffered from insomnia for 20 years. i started taking meds, because it was affecting my health. i finally settled on Xanax, because it had no 'hangover' effect on my system. However, there may be another med better for you.

My life has improved dramatically. I don't have any problem with some stigma that I'm probably technically addicted to Xanax. My physical health is far more important.

Talk to your MD.

Insomnia, or lack of sleep is a real/ treatable medical condition.

You should talk to your doctor there are many options they can look into that should be able to provide you relief. It is not normal, or healthy to have poor quality sleep.

Good luck
