i love depeche mode.
Depeche Mode are an English Electronic music band formed in 1980 in Basildon, Essex. They have been one of the longest-lived and most successful bands to have emerged during the New Wave and New Romantic era, though they are more akin to what was known as the 'Futurist' scene; many of their videos have been in heavy rotation on MTV. As of 2006, it is estimated that Depeche Mode has sold over 73 million albums worldwide. They have influenced many of today's popular recording artists, in part due to their innovative work, recording techniques and use of sampling. Though massively influential in the modern electronic dance scene, they remain in the alternative genre.

FARK YEAH!! I'm going to love David form the depth of my soul till the day I die. I love that man- his life changes, his self-awareness and introspection, and graceful carriage through tough times... Beautiful! Oh and he can dance... his own way of course... he's so vulnerable yet so strong at the same time, and intelligent. I do hope to meet a man as honorable as him...
Martin- so funny!! A genius singing about inner emotions of all kinds, and 'unseen' inner events that few people have tackled at all, much less tackled eloquently or in brilliantly composed music.

You might want to try Deine Lakaien. That's the only other band that has achieved or even surpassed playtime in my MP3 player (depends on my mood!)

I really liked New Life when it came out; I was in my teens at the time. I went to see them at the NEC in Birmingham a few months ago. They had a sort of bomb suspended above the stage with words such as 'misery', 'want', 'despair' and 'anguish' lit up on it. I thought it was incredibly depressing but my husband thought they were fantastic. And do you know, they didn't sing New Life!

Yes!I have been listening to DP since the 80's I was in London UK in 91 they were playing but sold out,My favorite song has to be "Everything Counts"
