A is the answer.

B & C have the products reversed (if CO2 were in answer B, it would no longer be a false statement). B still would not answer the question however, unless combined with C.

Practice test-taking skills--you should be able to figure this out without knowing anything about respiration and photosynthesis. A is the only answer that could result in a continuous cycle.
