There are other girls and in time your parents won't be able to tell you a thing. So date other women and forget about the younger woman or see her on the down low until you are independent of your parents.
Make sure this girl isn't so great because she pisses your parents off. Sometimes we do things to rebell against our parents and don't even realize it.
You are actually an adult and there isn't anything they can do to you. However it is apparent they still hold sway over you. So you have to decide what is more important to you.

If you love her that is fine but that is your life you love who you love can't help that you may be the only someone in her life right now she can trust don't take that away from her.Your parents cannot control your heart you only find true love once dont throw it away because someone dont agree.Forget the silly stuff and be happy if that is what you are!!

What does financial status have to do with your relationship? Nothing! The only problem I see is your classing her. :|
Parents are parents. You choose who you have a relationship with. You are your own person.

If you feel deep in your heart that you can make this work then hold your ground....it's wrong for your parents to be so arrogant and judgmental. If you leave her you will never know what you missed out on

your old enough to choose what you want. we all know that parents only want something good for you. They're just afraid that you might commit a mistake, (its like they're teaching you how to cross a road) but they cant do anything if you really show them that you know what you want, and show them you're old enough to handle yourself. still eventhough your parents dont agree to your realationship, treat them with respect. you only got only one pair of parents and girls will come(i'm not saying that you leave you girlfriend). if you give respect you deserve to recieve respect on what decisions you'll have.

Parents are there for guidance not to make decisions for you so get a spine and tell them you appreciate there imput butit is not there decision to make and if they love you the will be there through good and bad decisions
