In terms of Points (towards the year end number 1 ranking) all Grand Slams (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open) are equal.
But amongst the 4 Grand Slams, I think there's a general concensus that each major is ranked by it's importance in the following order.
1) Wimbledon
2) US Open
3) French Open
4) Australian Open.
After the Grand Slams, the Tennis Masters Series are the most important.
Federer: 8
Sampras: 14
Agassi: 8 (Agassi is the only one of the 3 to have won the French Open, but Federer will probably do it someday)
On a side note, Steffi Graf won 22 Grand Slams.

Its the Wimbeldon and Federer have won 8 major titles,Sampras have won 14 major titles and Aggasi have won 8 major titles.

the U.S. open is the biggedt becuz most of the greatest players go there and this open has the biggest court.
