If you are bored, I'd have to blame it on your teacher.
It is his/her responsibility to keep your interest level up and explain it well enough for you to know that what you learn there is vital to your growth, no matter how the subject matter seems to not apply to anything you plan on doing the rest of your life.
But knowing this, and being 'stuck' with the teacher you have, you must also claim responsibility on how to deal with the situation. It may seem redundant and simple but someday you will realize that how you treat school now will greatly affect how you do with things you need to deal with later on in life.
It's daunting of course. I remember being young and thinking the same exact way, but, like the cliché goes:
"if I knew then what I know now."
try to make it interesting for yourself...you will reap the benefits yourself later.

Because you can't watch TV or play videogames all day. Funny, though, because all of the adults I know who watch TV and play videogames all day are on welfare and have 10 kids. I'm sure life is just fun,fun,fun for them all the time. Who needs self-respect? If you're bored, try paying attention to what is going on around you instead of whining about it. You might learn something...a novel concept, I'm sure.

it may seem boring now but imagine having to go to work everyday to pay bills u dont wanna pay for longer during the day too! school sucks,work sucks then u die. just make sure u have shed loads of fun on ur days off!!!!

At your age....school always was and always will remain boring. Even when you grow up and start going to college...you will go thru the same feeling.

you only get out of school what you put in , study and pay attention more and the day will go by much faster
